While Carolyn was in Florida picking up grandchildren, I was in Israel to attend a pizza party, hosted by Ambassador Earl Cox, for the Holocaust survivors at our project location, the Holocaust Survivor Clubhouse in Sderot.

As usual, the Lord led me through all of my trials and concerns during the four short days of my trip. I have to tell you that trips to Israel are almost always met with internal spiritual battle as the enemy of our souls makes known that I am not welcomed! Satan welcomes no one in service of the Lord aiding Israel! Nevertheless, I put all my trust in the Lord, not in myself, or what I am trying to accomplish. Then He always comes through and causes those things to flee from me. Praise God the Father through His wonderful Name, Jesus, Yeshua the Messiah.

20150707_163714This time, as I approached a Customs agent in Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, I experienced an unusual blessing. Considering the very real threat of terrorism, these agents are very serious and hardly ever smile as they assess you for wanting to enter their land. In this case, the agent was amazed that my main purpose for this trip was to attend a pizza party in Sderot then head back home. No one, in this agent’s mind, comes from so far away to do something like this then leave for home in such a short time. When I told her that it was to bless Holocaust survivors, and that I always come to bless Israel, the agent could not restrain from producing the broadest smile then expeditiously shoved my passport back to me with the kindest heart felt greeting to have a great day and enjoy my stay! Wonders never cease in the Lord. When you bless, you will be blessed!

20150707_163635Ambassador Earl Cox and his wife Kathleen actually arranged, paid for, and hosted the pizza party for the Clubhouse members, but I was plenty thankful for being part of it as I had business to do here as well!

Our It Is Time Israel project, restoring the Clubhouse, has been a frustration for me because it seemed that donations were coming in so slowly that I thought “Lord is this ever going to happen”? The Lord has actually been showing me lately that His timing and His ways are not our ways. While I’m being somewhat impatient, He has infinite patience. He is not following me but I’m to follow Him.

But I had a pre pizza meeting with my project manager and the construction contractor and we worked out a new approach. I was earlier told that we needed to have a large amount of money to start construction, but God gave me the proper wisdom to renegotiate and now we have a breakthrough! We now plan to start very soon!

We are starting with just under $40K, but remember that the entire project will cost around $129K so, if there is anyone or church, etc. out there who wants to donate the difference, around $89K to complete the project, we will not turn you down!

After a detailed estimate is submitted and officially approved by It Is Time Israel we will begin. The first tasks to be completed will be the renovations of the kitchen, bathrooms, and the replacement of the entire floor. Thank you Lord and thank all of you who have prayed and sent donations for this important work!

I was doubly blessed on this trip as I was honored to share with some folks, on the streets of Jerusalem, what God has in store for Israel, and spend more quality time with the Holocaust survivors in Sderot. They were very excited that we are finally moving forward with the renovations causing our hearts to touch! In addition, Ambassador Cox made a very generous donation (see in picture section). Now, more than ever, I desire to see this project move to completion.

As many of you know upon reading our Mission Statement at ‘itistimeisrael.org’, one of the main missions of It Is Time Israel is to help Israel come to understand who they really are on the world stage in these times, and how God is engineering His plan for them, according to Scripture. Simultaneously, we desire the Body of Messiah (the church) to also gain some understanding so that they can pray and bless Israel in the process. So, what does this Holocaust Survivor Clubhouse Renovation project have to do with that?

We believe that part of doing anything for Israel involves blessings via. giving and making friends with our wealth.

Genesis 12:2-3

I will make of you a great nation, I will bless you, and I will make your name great; and you are to be a blessing.

I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” CJB

Romans 15:27

For if the Gentiles have shared with the Jews in spiritual matters, then the Gentiles clearly have a duty to help the Jews in material matters. CJB

Luke 16:9

9 “Now what I say to you is this: use worldly wealth to make friends for yourselves, so that when it gives out, you may be welcomed into the eternal home. CJB

We really want to get this project complete so that the Holocaust survivors can receive a great blessing while they are still alive and so that we can move on to another great project; placing the IT IS TIME ISRAEL logo on transit buses in possibly Jerusalem and/or Tel Aviv. We have made initial contact with an agency in Israel for making this happen.

Remember our logo encapsulates a great message from God to Israel:

 Ezekiel 28:25-26

25 “Adonai Elohim says, ‘Once I have gathered the house of Isra’el from the peoples among whom they are scattered, once I have shown my holiness in them (they honor me – mine) as the Goyim (Gentiles – mine) watch, then they will live in their own land, which I gave to my servant Ya‘akov (Jacob – mine).

26 They will have security when they live there, building houses and planting vineyards; yes, they will live in safety, once I have executed judgments against all their contemptuous neighbors. Then they will know that I am Adonai their God.’” (Complete Jewish Bible)

Yes, when Israel unashamedly honors God while the Gentile nations take notice, these blessed Scriptures will be fulfilled. We believe it is time Israel!

Please visit our Projects section, if you are interested in contributing. You will be blessed!

By the way, Carolyn and I have substantially seeded the Holocaust Survivor Clubhouse project with our own money so, please don’t think that we are asking for donations from you without ourselves doing the same.

And, while you are on the website, please read at least our Mission Statement, History, and Project pages. Visit old photos and articles. Heck, visit all of our tabs!

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support of Israel, God bless you all in His Love,  Bart
